Benefits
UltraVision Silicone Hydrogel materials have a combination of properties that are ideal for contact lenses.
More Oxygen to the eye
Healthy eyes need oxygen. Silicone Hydrogel contact lenses enable more oxygen flow to the cornea compared to other lens materials.
Moisture retention
As well as comfort on eye, retaining moisture helps with the oxygen flow to the eye and this stability provides the wearer with consistent comfort and optical clarity throughout the day.
Consistent All Day Fit
The fit of the lens remains the same throughout the day as there is no shrinkage or warping due to the excellent water retention of the material.
No Surface Treatment Required
The underlying materials are very comfortable on the eye and do not require masking with plasma or other treatments, so the lenses are not degraded through proper & safe rubbing techniques when cleaning.
More Flexible
The modulus (stiffness) of the Silicone Hydrogel materials is very low. This enables the contact lenses to be soft and flexible in the eye and hence be more comfortable for longer wearing times.
