UltraVision CEO in Charitable Cycle Ride

Release date: 25th Jun 2010

Cambridge and Leighton Buzzard based contact lens manufacturer, UltraVision CLPL, is supporting the Irregular Cornea Foundation in a charity bike ride on Sunday 25th July 2010.  Keith Lomas, Group CEO of UltraVision, and close friend Mark Daniels, publican at The Tharp Arms in Chippenham, Cambridgeshire are taking part in the London to Cambridge cycle event, along with friends, to raise money for three worthy causes.

The organisers of the event are Breakthrough Breast Cancer, a charity who are committed to fighting breast cancer through research, campaigning and education.  The ride is 60 miles long and hilly enough to make it a worthy challenge for all involved.

Mark and Keith are also raising money for two of their own chosen charitable causes.  Keith has chosen the Irregular Cornea Foundation, an organisation established to help raise global awareness of irregular cornea conditions, as UltraVision CLPL works closely with them.  Mark's youngest son has Asperger's Syndrome, and so he is raising cash for a local charity close to his heart Asperger's East Anglia which works with families of individuals whose lives are affected by this condition.

All donations can be made via Mark and Keith's Charity Giving web page http://www.charitygiving.co.uk/markkeithandothers and will be split equally between the three charities:
